Systems Administrator

Under the direction of the Technical Services Manager, this position is responsible for the organization’s information systems and facilities, specializing in the following areas: installation, operation, troubleshooting, diagnosing, remediation, and management of computer services, information security, servers, and application systems. Responsible for researching, planning, designing, installing, testing, operating, maintaining, monitoring, tuning, and managing systems. Serves as technical solutions resource and provides excellent customer service to end users.

Job Description

Opening Date: February 2, 2018

Closing Date: Open until filled

Salary Range: $6,433.78 to $8,250.70 monthly (FLSA Exempt)

Benefits: Paid medical, dental, vision, sick, vacation and holidays; Public Employees Retirement System (PERS); tuition reimbursement

Work Hours: Monday – Friday daytime hours, on-call, occasional evening, weekends and holidays

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or related area from an accredited institution.

OR

Any combination of relevant education and experience which would demonstrate the individual’s knowledge, skill and ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Microsoft Certifications
  • VMware Certifications
  • Advanced knowledge of MS SQL Server and/or Oracle
  • Advanced knowledge of MS SharePoint Server
  • IT Security experience
