Amber Alert Procedures Tested & Prove Successful

The nationwide Amber Alert system was put into good use last week when Valley Communications received it's first Amber Alert since the system was implemented in King County.

The procedures were tested and proved to be very valuable on 5/5/2003 when an Amber Alert was issued for two missing 12 year old girls in the city of Kent. The children were returned safely to their families.
